Permanent cosmetic Make up Pre-Procedure Information

Please do not book an appointment before any major event, such as a vacation, social event or wedding. Also, some clients may be more sensitive if they have a procedure done on their menstrual cycle.

Try to avoid Caffeine, Aspirin (unless medically needed) and Alcohol prior to all procedures. Avoid drinking alcohol for 48 hours prior to procedure. Tamara will not recommend any medications to control discomfort. If you feel the need to self-medicate, you must have proof of a ride home. Tylenol or any non-aspirin pain reliever can be taken one hour prior to procedure.

Eyeliner

Please bring glasses to all appointments if you wear contact lenses. You must wear eyeglasses for 2 days after all eyeliner sessions. After 3 days, you may wear contact lenses. They must be clean or new.

Lips

If you have ever had (even years ago) a fever blister, cold sore, shingles or chicken pox. It is recommended that you obtain a prescribed anti-viral medication from your doctor or dentist. Fever blisters are very common side effects of lip tattooing.
If you have any condition that requires you to take antibiotics prior to going to the dentist, it is a good idea to do the same prior to all tattoo work.
